November marked a great month for the new 2010 Ford Fusion when it was named Motor Trend’s 2010 “Car of the Year”. The mid-size sedan was chosen best of 23 new or significantly upgraded vehicles that were eligible for the award, beating out the Toyota Prius, Chevy Camaro, BMW 7-Series and others.
The magazine said the full range of Fusion models was impressive, from the four-cylinder entry level vehicles to the all-wheel drive sport and hybrid versions. All of which have helped the Fusion become one of the top 10 selling vehicles in the United States and exceed its previous annual sales peak earlier in November.
Ford’s sales of the Fusion surpassed the previous full year sales record of 149,552 vehicles earlier in November. That record was set in 2007.
So if haven’t driven a fusion yet and what to see what all they hype is about then check out your local Ford store to see why the Fusion continues to gain momentum even in this down economy.
